maters in the garden

Chris and I experimented this year as to where to put a garden next year.  

The choice is obvious.

Tomato plants at the top of the hill:

withered and half-dead.

Tomato plants at the bottom of the hill:

lush with 5 maters!

Next year I want some tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, green beans...  We'll see what happens :)
